In the 7th minute of the match, Baldomiro Martxot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergio Romero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ionel Zărnescu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Paolo Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro James in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Ramiro James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match April 25 SC got a corner. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ren Xi Chen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on April 25 SC's corner Ren Xi Chen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paolo Urko quite easily take care of the ball. Paolo Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Xi Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Teofilio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Sergio Romero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paolo Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Xi Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Sergio Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ren Xi Chen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Paolo Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ren Xi Chen in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Urko saved Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting behind. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Hyuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Hyuga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergio Romero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celedonio Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sergio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Hyuga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sergio Romero made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Laureano Sevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paolo Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. April 25 SC made a substitution. Benito Marques replaced Ionel Zărnescu. Benito Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomiro Martxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Romero. April 25 SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sergio Romero came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Celedonio Teofilio. But to his dismay, Celedonio Teofilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 77th minute Ren Xi Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Celedonio Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Teofilio came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the April 25 SC defense, Celedonio Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Romero. The April 25 SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Romero should have stopped the shot.
