The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zilar Presedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pepsi Fuchibol Clu. Zilar Presedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Melgarejo in the 19th minute of play. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferdinand Abajas in the 20th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Cosme Abecia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lesardo Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galsino Vime, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Lesardo Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galsino Vime in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute César Melgarejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zilar Presedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Lesardo Abadie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhon Arias in the 31st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Zilar Presedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. César Melgarejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute of the match San Marino Thm got a corner. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cuarto Charro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led San Marino Thm's Cuarto Charro to fire away a dangerous shot which Lesardo Abadie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zilar Presedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Melgarejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galsino Vime to make the kick off. Zilar Presedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. San Marino Thm's Marciano Cantero got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th of the match, Marciano Cantero tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lesardo Abadie got in the way and made a wonderful save. 59 minutes into the match, Jhon Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lesardo Abadie. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jhon Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
