The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Lewandowski got free with Robin Sharma in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas De la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Rafa Lojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafa Lojewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 18th minute of play. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 23rd minute of the match. Robin Sharma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Facundo Bot's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fernando Amorebieta hit a great ball. Karol Panasewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Lojewski having to make a save. Rafa Lojewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Lewandowski came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Go Ahead Eagles's corner Cássio Gonçalves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robin Sharma quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Lewandowski in the 50th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Blue Mountain State's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cássio Gonçalves took the corner. Go Ahead Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Gonçalves in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Cássio Gonçalves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robin Sharma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Go Ahead Eagles's Rafa Lojewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. Robin Sharma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Gonçalves went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Rafa Lojewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Popescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blue Mountain State walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
