The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Marcus Rashford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Rashford got free with Moisés Novaes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kanalla F.C's Leon Quin got a free kick in the 5th minute. Kanalla F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Mogel in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zygmunt Bielejewski during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Zygmunt Bielejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Leon Quin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanalla F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STAL ST WOLA the free kick. After 16 played minutes Kanalla F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leon Quin. Boleslaw Nakoneczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mao Hong Yang came free, but Delmar Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mao Hong Yang in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Lech in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Ignado saved Kanalla F.C from getting behind. After some careless play in the Kanalla F.C defense, Mikolaj Lech kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Ignado. The Kanalla F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Ignado should have stopped the shot. Douglas Furlan hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Marcus Rashford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Lech came free, but Delmar Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Rashford was the one to do the kick off. Gu Xiao Kun made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustaw Bendyk. When Marcus Rashford came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kanalla F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Rashford couldn't finish the play. STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when Kanalla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Ercüment Tanju replaced Marcus Rashford. In the 61st minute, Leon Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercüment Tanju in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mao Hong Yang in the 65th minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Gu Xiao Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Lech came free, but Delmar Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mao Hong Yang in the 82nd minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikolaj Lech in the 84th minute. With an all-out effort, STAL ST WOLA's Delmar Ignado threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mao Hong Yang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mikolaj Lech came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the STAL ST WOLA fans jumped to their feet.
