With 38 minutes on the clock, Trpimir Smilčić commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alonzo Gartxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barlas Özerdal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With 79 minutes on the clock, Leonides Vela commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in VAMO ARRIBA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 83 minutes into the match, Maksimir's Antonio Hrste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Ellande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 played minutes VAMO ARRIBA got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Oxel. 91 minutes into the game, Antonio Hrste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aquiles Ellande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonio Hrste kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Oxel to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maksimir fans cheered their team off the field, for while VAMO ARRIBA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
