The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A nice corner shot did that Gao Cheng Yun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacinto Cuadrado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainerio Obis in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alexis McAllister hit a great ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Pan Jian Yong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 11th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pan Jian Yong took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gao Cheng Yun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Cuadrado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 25th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lions United's Gao Cheng Yun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 55th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Jian Yong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 59 minutes into the match, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Cuadrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Xano De Paula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. After 61 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Xano De Paula. Lions United's Pan Jian Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Jian Yong in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Cuadrado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lions United were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gao Cheng Yun took the corner. 74 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Jian Yong came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Cuadrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lazaro Marin made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ufuk Ökten however managed to control. Jacinto Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Lions United got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gao Cheng Yun ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lions United's corner Gao Cheng Yun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto Cuadrado quite easily take care of the ball. Xano De Paula kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Martinelli to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Martinelli got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ufuk Ökten. Lions United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
