Jerzy Cetnar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Ununger in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, GFK Osogovo's Ingvar Lund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Migjen Mena in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Diego Hitzeder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrick Armstrong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jerzy Cetnar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorbjörn Olerius, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorbjörn Olerius in the 34th minute of play forced GFK Osogovo's goalkeeper Jerzy Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 43rd minute of play forced GFK Osogovo's goalkeeper Jerzy Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Thorbjörn Olerius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ManagerZone Crew fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Robert Ununger managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Ununger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Cetnar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Linkhorst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, GFK Osogovo's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Jerzy Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Robert Ununger took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Jerzy Cetnar to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute Migjen Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Migjen Mena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Diego Hitzeder scored 5-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerzy Cetnar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ununger, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Peter Linkhorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Cetnar was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Peter Linkhorsts short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Jerzy Cetnar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cezary Sawicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
