Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duško Zambata took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ghitã Fratea charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghitã Fratea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Stefanos Terzopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Esmeraldas S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefanos Terzopoulos couldn't finish the play. Stefanos Terzopoulos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Duško Zambata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AJ Juventus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Duško Zambata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aguinaga Nebot. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duško Zambata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 25 minutes, Willy Reynolds made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duško Zambata in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aguinaga Nebot saved Esmeraldas S.C. from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Duško Zambata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Willy Reynolds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Willy Reynolds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duško Zambata in the 38th minute of the match. Martinez Cines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duško Zambata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Zhou Xuan made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AJ Juventus FC's Illan Mendoza. Martinez Cines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mambru Puertas made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Maftei to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Reynolds in the 52nd minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mambru Puertas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinaga Nebot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duško Zambata in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot got control of the ball when Duško Zambata tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes Esmeraldas S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Zahonero who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Cosme Reno managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 70 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duško Zambata. The corner ended in Damian Zahonero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot did a great save. Vinny Speed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mambru Puertas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Maftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The corner led Esmeraldas S.C.'s Stefanos Terzopoulos to fire away a dangerous shot which Mambru Puertas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute Willy Reynolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mambru Puertas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mambru Puertas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willy Reynolds went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Aguinaga Nebot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosme Reno went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. AJ Juventus FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
