Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Evgeniy Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Arșanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorin Arșanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danila Kolobov in the 5th minute. Jyrki Saarelainen scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Akinfeev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorin Arșanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandru Tudorică during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Tudorică. Jyrki Saarelainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 21st minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Akinfeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 28th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Gustaw Rasialdo put in a rough tackle. In the 30th minute, one of Rovine Craiova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rovine Craiova. Rovine Craiova:s Dorin Arșanu showed great skill when he stopped Evgeniy Fomichev:s penalty. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 35th minute of play. Vadim Basmannikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dorin Arșanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jyrki Saarelainen in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Akinfeev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 42nd minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jyrki Saarelainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Rovine Craiova were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jyrki Saarelainen to make the kick off. Igor Akinfeev was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Jyrki Saarelainen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jyrki Saarelainen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 58 minutes into the match, Vadim Basmannikov notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Rovine Craiova's Dorin Arșanu. Dorin Arșanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jyrki Saarelainen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Igor Akinfeev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vadim Basmannikov scored 3-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorin Arșanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Voskresensk FC made a substitution. Konstantin Lakhov replaced Vadim Basmannikov. Jyrki Saarelainen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dorin Arșanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Lakhov in the 73rd minute of the match. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Voskresensk FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute Rovine Craiova were awarded a corner. Marcel Turcescu went to the cornerflag to take it. When Marcel Turcescu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rovine Craiova's protests and gave Marcel Turcescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Turcescu. Evgeniy Fomichev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorin Arșanu having to make a save. Dorin Arșanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alexandru Tudorică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jyrki Saarelainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Akinfeev having to make a save. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Voskresensk FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Stepan Romm hit a great ball. The Voskresensk FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rovine Craiova's performance. The match ended with a win for Rovine Craiova.
