Obrero Barquisimeto's Arne Teuben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 9th minute of play. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arne Teuben in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Teuben narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Marcos Akerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Akerman in the 15th minute of play forced Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goalkeeper Elias Arnedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Teuben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Farfán in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Nicasio Raymond got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marcos Akerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Arnedo having to interfere. Elias Arnedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Akerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nicasio Raymond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arne Teuben came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicasio Raymond slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Arne Teuben made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Raymond in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Raymond in the 33rd minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Akerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Arnedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Raymond to make the kick off. Arne Teuben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Farfán in the 52nd minute of the match. Jefferson Farfán scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Teuben, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Farfán came free, but Arne Teuben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goalkeeper Elias Arnedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Obrero Barquisimeto's Otilio Galindez was substituted for Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin. In the 67th minute Nicasio Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Teuben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paulo Antoñana immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 87th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Farfán scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Teuben, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo got control of the ball when Otilio Galindez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Obrero Barquisimeto for a fine match.
