If Bennvar Caddick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th match minute, Altos Gatos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Chago to maneuver through the defense. John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Yao Zhen in the 15th minute of play. Frans Larsfelt hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Enrique Vidal got a free kick in the 20th minute. Christian Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ defense, Everardo Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Osomo. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Osomo should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Yao Zhen came free, but John Osomo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hu Yao Zhen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Osomo. John Osomo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Frans Larsfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Larsfelt in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 minutes Altos Gatos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandro Mandrak who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Altos Gatos FC made a substitution. Liev Tolstoy replaced Hu Yao Zhen. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Örjan Björkdahl to make the kick off. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Altos Gatos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandro Mandrak took the corner. Javier Santo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björkdahl got free with Christian Kiliz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Aurelio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Altos Gatos FC's Aurelio Duarte made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Osomo was left in no man's land by his defense there! PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ made a substitution. Zé Ortiz replaced João Arruda. Altos Gatos FC's Bonifacio Olle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frans Larsfelt, made in the 76th minute of the game. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Duarte in the 84th minute of the match. Christian Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Caddick, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 93 minutes, Kléberson Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ and the Altos Gatos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kléberson Guedes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Altos Gatos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
