CD Municipal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristinel Tomulescu. Green Zombies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tulio Andinyach struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Cristinel Tomulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. Zlatan Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristinel Tomulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Tomulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsigmond Tímár in the 21st minute of play. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zsigmond Tímár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mouricio Zuri hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Green Zombies's Cristinel Tomulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 36th minute of play. Franciszek Sadlowski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Cristinel Tomulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 47th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Cristinel Tomulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Cassaretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tomulescu having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Enrique Cassaretto made a precise shot to the right of Cristinel Tomulescu. Green Zombies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Hidegkúti in the 95th minute of the match. CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
