With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Fidele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saverio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Potra in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dinu Potra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Fidele was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Torbjörn Hökqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Torbjörn Hökqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Potra in the 24th minute of play forced Chelco FC's goalkeeper Saverio Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chelco FC's Saverio Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzanyo Barbutski in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Torbjörn Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Hökqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinu Potra made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Hökqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Doychin Simidchiyski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 56 minutes DELUX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavio Profeta who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Chelco FC booed when DELUX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Suban Arriba fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelco FC's protests and gave Suban Arriba a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Chelco FC got a freekick which was hit by Suban Arriba. Dominik Szoboszlai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saverio Fidele came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominik Szoboszlai slotted it home off the left post making it 7-3 in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chelco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while DELUX had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
