When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ingvar Strand sped through Mertesdorf FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Reiss. 18 minutes into the match, Mertesdorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isa Günyol came free, but Richard Reiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Isa Günyol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Richard Reiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Red John S.K's Isa Günyol got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Reyo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ingvar Strand took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Richard Reiss to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th match minute, Mertesdorf FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Richard Reiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Strand in the 41st minute of play. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Guang Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Xie Guang Fei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Red John S.K's Cássio Corinth did a great save. After 48 played minutes Red John S.K got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Reyo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Strand to strike the kick off in the second half. Denílson Lopes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Mertesdorf FC's Pastor Lano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cássio Corinth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mertesdorf FC reached it. Jakob Stevens hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Pastor Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mertesdorf FC's Richard Reiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Lopes in the 81st minute of play. If Sebastian Bach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Joakim Hammarström with Innozenz Martinek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Caetano Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red John S.K's protests and gave Caetano Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Red John S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Arósio to maneuver through the defense.
