A beautiful save bye LUPO f.c's goalie prevented a goal. Andres Frasco scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lev Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lev Yashin was a little too slow when Andres Frasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ayhan Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Ramirez in the 13th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lev Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorio Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. LUPO f.c's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Basajaun in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Van Dessel in the 19th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Victorio Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lev Yashin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to LUPO f.c getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Matia De Silva hit a great ball. Lev Yashin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Tequileros FC's Victorio Basajaun. But to his dismay, Victorio Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 31st minute Jens Van Dessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Segundo Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pedro Raitin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tequileros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Raitin couldn't finish the play. Camilo Dorio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, one of Tequileros FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tequileros FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens Van Dessel was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jens Van Dessel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ayhan Vuralhan. The goal made the score 4-1. Haarald Sauna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Basajaun in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved LUPO f.c from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Van Dessel got free with Ayhan Vuralhan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Rafael Martino replaced Venancio Azeari. Otávio Dracena made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tequileros FC's Filiberto Bittor. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tequileros FC booed when LUPO f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Van Dessel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Victorio Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ayhan Vuralhan made a huge save. Cecilio Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, Tequileros FC's Victorio Basajaun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lev Yashin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tequileros FC reached it. LUPO f.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
