A collision led to Lagrima en Jarrita getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Clemencin Duran hit a great ball. Benedicto Naelio took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loco Malo. Loco Malo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Naelio got free with Loco Malo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 46th minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Argentina's Benedicto Naelio, in the 46th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Argentina.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Naelio to make the kick off. Teodosio Figueroa replaced Aristide Ştefănoiu. 66 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Gregory came free, but Loco Malo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Malo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Argentina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
