In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 13th minute of play. Sporting Angola's attentive Miguel Cunha managed to snatch the ball when Boris Mikaelsson made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Angola from getting a goal against them. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Wüllbier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by SSC Ambrosini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sporting Angola's Miguel Cunha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute Henrik Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Wüllbier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Goyanes made a kick off. Freddy Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Möllgren in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Sporting Angola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikitas Staboulidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Angola's Miguel Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valter Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius got control of the ball when Ubaldo Goyanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Glanselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 67th minute. A collision led to Sporting Angola getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Miguel Cunha hit a great ball. Tomas Gartzen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Aaron Glanselius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Sporting Angola supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sporting Angola would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
