Stelian Hortopan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Avram Popoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Guillem Bugedo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dick Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiadoro Cores in the 34th minute of play. Dick Vedholm made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Vladimir Couto sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Avram Popoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 庄杰坤 in the 41st minute of play. When Vladimir Couto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Deportivo Damasco F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Couto couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Deportivo Damasco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Lertora to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 庄杰坤 made a kick off. The supporters of Black Diamond booed when Deportivo Damasco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Merolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Couto in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Roman Corte made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Vedholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Black Diamond's goal looked a bit too open when Tiadoro Cores came free, but Dick Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Vedholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiadoro Cores went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Arturo Persia was substituted for Bonifaco Montoya. Deportivo Damasco F.C.'s Aldo Damasco was substituted for Tiadoro Cores. Black Diamond made a substitution. Niculae Dima replaced Evelio Harriet. In the 76th minute Federico Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Diamond made a substitution. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dick Vedholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Vladimir Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Damasco F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
