Sean Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Nicky Stapleton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orestis Lazarou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick de Zee in the 10th minute of play forced Charles Town's goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrone Fowler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk-Jan Knuppel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnout Arends in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrone Fowler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orestis Lazarou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Egan in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Rondo's Orestis Lazarou got control of the ball when Nicky Stapleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Arnout Arends shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone Fowler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rondo's zone, Sean Egan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orestis Lazarou came out of the goal and Sean Egan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Olof Huizinga. The long shot by Jose Manuel Adan in the 29th minute really tested Orestis Lazarou's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Rusterholz in the 33rd minute of play. Orestis Lazarou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Stapleton in the 35th minute. Nicky Stapleton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Orestis Lazarou made a huge save. Orestis Lazarou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Dante in the 46th minute of play. Orestis Lazarou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
51 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Stapleton came free, but Orestis Lazarou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Manuel Adan was slow to take the kick. During this time Charles Town's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Charles Town's corner Jose Manuel Adan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orestis Lazarou quite easily take care of the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charles Town's goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Rondo were awarded a corner. Rick de Zee went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Rondo's corner Rick de Zee fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tyrone Fowler quite easily take care of the ball. Nicky Stapleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrone Fowler made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jacco Hekman sent off a good shot on target. Charles Town made a substitution. Marcelo-Luis Argentin replaced Adam Mukengechay. Charles Town's Sid Gentry was substituted for Sean Egan. After 67 played minutes Charles Town got a freekick which was hit by Adam Mukengechay. With a little luck, Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler got control of the ball when Rick de Zee tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Arends in the 69th minute of play forced Charles Town's goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Charles Town's Igor Czciborek got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes, Rondo's Roeland Hoogendorp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rondo reached it. Nicky Stapleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Sid Gentry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Lazarou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Gentry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Orestis Lazarou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Charles Town's João Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orestis Lazarou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rashad Jensen made a great header on Charles Town's corner, it was just that Rondo's Orestis Lazarou managed to reach the ball for a save. 90 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Stapleton came free, but Orestis Lazarou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charly Rusterholz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tyrone Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orestis Lazarou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Gentry, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
