The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiburcio Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Astor Ruy made a huge save. Tiburcio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Ruy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy got control of the ball when Tiburcio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Agung Štriker in the 20th minute of play. Tiburcio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BloodHounds F.C. from getting a goal against them. Astor Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 35th minute. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Cordera in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Rosa came free, but Astor Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anak Agung Štriker in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fırat Aytekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
