Limoeiro-PE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calisto Abril was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Raphael Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fillos de Breogán the free kick. The supporters of Fillos de Breogán booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orti Sánchez in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana got control of the ball when Gino do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Robert Lozovan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Garibaldo Quijana made a huge save. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Lozovan in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Limoeiro-PE FC's Luís Fabiano Fontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garibaldo Quijana. Garibaldo Quijana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 40 minutes Fillos de Breogán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. Xabat Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calisto Abril didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 64th minute Luís Fabiano Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garibaldo Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Fontes in the 81st minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Robert Lozovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 minutes, Robert Lozovan made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Luís Fabiano Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Garibaldo Quijana. Fillos de Breogán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Xinto Palencia got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabat Armada to maneuver through the defense. Doni Barbosa missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 98 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Garibaldo Quijana right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Limoeiro-PE FC had won after a very even match.
