With a left leg Austmar Janusson saved V.V.V - Venlo from getting behind. 19 minutes in the game, Natalio Favila dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 20th minute Natalio Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austmar Janusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. V.V.V - Venlo's Austmar Janusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Favila in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's Natalio Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austmar Janusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Favila couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Arif Devrim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halldór Jökulsson in the 69th minute of play. Æsir Ásgarðr's Przemyslaw Plachetka quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Friðþór Bjarmason, made in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Natalio Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austmar Janusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, V.V.V - Venlo's goalkeeper Austmar Janusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Favila. After a defensive mix-up in V.V.V - Venlo's zone, Natalio Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Austmar Janusson came out of the goal and Natalio Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natalio Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Æsir Ásgarðr eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
