Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sírnir Bergþórsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Össur Aðalmundsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristvin Logason in the 16th minute of play forced Vernd Grindavík's goalkeeper Össur Aðalmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Össur Aðalmundsson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Kristvin Logason. But to his dismay, Kristvin Logason quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 20th minute, Kristvin Logason reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Össur Aðalmundsson. The goal made the score 4-0. Vignir Sveinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Aríel Fjölmundsson took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Össur Aðalmundsson to make any attempt to save it. Sírnir Bergþórsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Össur Aðalmundsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marijón Úlfarsson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Össur Aðalmundsson saved Vernd Grindavík from getting behind. Vernd Grindavík's Össur Aðalmundsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vernd Grindavík from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Marijón Úlfarsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Össur Aðalmundsson, 6-0. In the 37th minute, FC Barcelona's Kristvin Logason dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Össur Aðalmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijón Úlfarsson in the 42nd minute of play. Tryggvi Loðmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Vignir Sveinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagbjartur Loðmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marijón Úlfarsson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Vernd Grindavík booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marijón Úlfarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, FC Barcelona's Marijón Úlfarsson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Össur Aðalmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vernd Grindavík's Bjarnleifur Hallbjörnsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona's Kristvin Logason nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Össur Aðalmundsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 62 minutes into the match, Kristvin Logason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Össur Aðalmundsson. Vernd Grindavík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristvin Logason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Dalvin Ingjaldsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Marijón Úlfarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Össur Aðalmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Össur Aðalmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sírnir Bergþórsson in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Marijón Úlfarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marijón Úlfarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Kristvin Logason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Össur Aðalmundsson. Vernd Grindavík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristvin Logason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Össur Aðalmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristvin Logason in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Sírnir Bergþórsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Össur Aðalmundsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Össur Aðalmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristvin Logason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, FC Barcelona's Lúter Óttarsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lúter Óttarsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Barcelona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lúter Óttarsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Barcelona! The goalkeeper, Vignir Sveinsson, was totally fooled by Vernd Grindavík's Dalvin Ingjaldsson, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Össur Aðalmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristvin Logason in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagbjartur Loðmundsson got free with Vignir Sveinsson in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Barcelona fully deserved thier win.
