Kristmundur Þorkelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. When Hallgils Ragnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flink Kópaskeri's protests and gave Hallgils Ragnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Hallgils Ragnarsson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Kristmundur Þorkelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúter Óttarsson in the 36th minute of the match. The wind increased when Soffanías Emilsson made the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Barcelona fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FC Barcelona's Aríel Fjölmundsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Davíðsson got free with Kristmundur Þorkelsson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristvin Logason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Kristmundur Þorkelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, FC Barcelona's Kristvin Logason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristmundur Þorkelsson. Kristmundur Þorkelsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Flink Kópaskeri's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kristvin Logason 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. When Hjálmtýr Bergsson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hjálmtýr Bergsson couldn't finish the play.
