Austmar Hjaltason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tístran Bjargmundarson made a huge save. Tístran Bjargmundarson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Össur Ármannsson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on Manchester United's corner Níls Margeirsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tístran Bjargmundarson quite easily take care of the ball. Manchester United's Dawid Pyrtek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 13th minute of play. Össur Ármannsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tístran Bjargmundarson made a huge save. Bylgjan2's Tístran Bjargmundarson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bylgjan2 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bylgjan2's Kiljan Valbergsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Níls Margeirsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tístran Bjargmundarson skillfully saved the ball. When Manchester United's Kristmundur Knútsson, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Kristmundur Knútsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tístran Bjargmundarson having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shelton Labrecque to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Össur Ármannsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Össur Ármannsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tístran Bjargmundarson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Össur Ármannsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bylgjan2's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Níls Margeirsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United's players had a chance to rest. After 58 minutes of play, Manchester United's Össur Ármannsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tístran Bjargmundarson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manchester United's Dawid Pyrtek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. Kristmundur Knútsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tístran Bjargmundarson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tístran Bjargmundarson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arngils Þorvaldsson in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Össur Ármannsson in the 76th minute of play forced Bylgjan2's goalkeeper Tístran Bjargmundarson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Kristmundur Knútsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tístran Bjargmundarson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 82 minutes, Yavuz Makul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bylgjan2 and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Níls Margeirsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 87th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Dawid Pyrtek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Kristmundur Knútsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tístran Bjargmundarson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Össur Ármannsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tístran Bjargmundarson having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Rafnar Þorgerisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manchester United fully deserved thier win.
