Össur Aðalmundsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bylgjan2's Shelton Labrecque shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Shelton Labrecque made the kick off in the second half. Shelton Labrecque took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Össur Aðalmundsson. Össur Aðalmundsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jóann Sindrason's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Bylgjan2 booed when Vernd Grindavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Össur Aðalmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Össur Aðalmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jóann Sindrason in the 90th minute of play. Tryggvi Loðmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tístran Bjargmundarson made a huge save. Vernd Grindavík's Össur Aðalmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelton Labrecque in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Bylgjan2 were the better team. Bylgjan2's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
