Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Bernardo España had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Altúnov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Treppa in the 25th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Lastur to strike the kick off in the second half. Florentino Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonard Treppa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Saul Lamberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamal Pahlevi was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Tirant lo Blanch's attentive Vicente Rodríguez managed to snatch the ball when Tiberiu Fința made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Carmen Paniagua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tirant lo Blanch had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
