The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Fertus Rigues. GreenUnited:s Sebastián Torrico showed great skill when he stopped Montalvo Huidobro:s penalty. After 9 minutes of play, YerBaTerOs's Montalvo Huidobro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Torrico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Plata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Torrico having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Yaman Akar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Villegas Villagarcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. YerBaTerOs's Villegas Villagarcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaman Akar in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Anguciana in the 19th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Akar came free, but Villegas Villagarcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's Maximiliano Plata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Torrico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Villegas Villagarcia made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Yaman Akar sent off a good shot on target. After 37 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Intriago Viles. Yaman Akar might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Villegas Villagarcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yaman Akar ran back to his position shaking his head. Yaman Akar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Villegas Villagarcia made a huge save. Andres Anguciana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Fertus Rigues threw the ball into play from the sideline. YerBaTerOs's Montalvo Huidobro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Plata in the 45th minute of play. Villegas Villagarcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaman Akar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

GreenUnited made a substitution. Max Stevens replaced Yaman Akar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Stevens was the one to do the kick off. Villegas Villagarcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Ovidiu Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villegas Villagarcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico got control of the ball when Andres Anguciana tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Anguciana came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Plata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Max Stevens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. YerBaTerOs's Villegas Villagarcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Farr in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Stevens in the 87th minute of play forced YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Villegas Villagarcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. YerBaTerOs's Villegas Villagarcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Stevens in the 87th minute of play. Ovidiu Şerbănescu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Villegas Villagarcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Şerbănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Bruna in the 96th minute of the match. Maximiliano Plata who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Sebastián Torrico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. YerBaTerOs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
