An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 3rd minute of play forced ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Antônio Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Niculiță to maneuver through the defense. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Setzinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrej Kramarić who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Andrej Kramarić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rune Jarstein quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lothar Heber got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Andrej Kramarić came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrej Kramarić couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Alexander Setzinger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Setzinger in the 16th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Setzinger in the 17th minute of play. Antônio Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Hovermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Nils Hovermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Melzer came free, but Antônio Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Melzer scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Kramarić in the 26th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moritz Hasenjäger took the corner. The corner led Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann to fire away a dangerous shot which Antônio Peres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo da Silva came free, but Antônio Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Alexander Setzinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Hovermann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Nils Hovermann made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Antônio Peres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 71st minute of the match. Lamine Lassaigne kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Lamine Lassaigne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match, Bjarte Sæverud tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Jarstein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antônio Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Elenescu went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjarte Sæverud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th play minute Bjarte Sæverud came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rune Jarstein. 3-4. 90 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antônio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 95th minute of play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 4-4. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Gio Moreno started the play with his kick off. 100 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Antônio Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
