Despite this Lukasz Kondysar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute of the match, Cristiano Correia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lukasz Kondysar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lukasz Kondysar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gaston Laurendi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristiano Correia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 46th minute, Grzegorz Brytka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Brytka got free with Ioan Voicu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Rolando Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Lukasz Kondysar. Nieciece's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
