In the 6th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Nihat Yıldıray was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mathijs Rokeloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arif Nihat Yıldıray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 16th minute. KFC Cromvelde's Jochen Van den Panhuizen pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Enginalp İdilkurt's late challenge caught a KFC Cromvelde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginalp İdilkurt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp İdilkurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathijs Rokeloos in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Nihat Yıldıray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Andrzej Zapolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jean-Louis Van Bever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Andrzej Zapolski came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Estación Q. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Zapolski couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Zapolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arif Nihat Yıldıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Wauters in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estación Q.'s Aurelio Mincho was substituted for Enginalp İdilkurt. Arif Nihat Yıldıray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 66th minute. KFC Cromvelde's Julien Moons managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nils-Erik Kellman in the 70 minute of the game. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Dé 武松 replaced Mathijs Rokeloos. Estación Q.'s Nils-Erik Kellman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Julien Moons, made in the 72nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Estación Q. defense, Herman Frans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Nihat Yıldıray. The Estación Q. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Nihat Yıldıray should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Benicio Beliran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Louis Van Bever was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Benicio Beliran hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Macit Serter fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estación Q.'s protests and gave Macit Serter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute Dé 武松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estación Q.'s Arif Nihat Yıldıray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Estación Q. from getting a goal against them. The KFC Cromvelde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Cromvelde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
