Viviano Baños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Weller having to interfere. Новгород TS's Sven-Ove Frykberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Новгород TS from getting a goal against them. Tim Weller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Ting Yuan in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Cherkasskiy during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Scherer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Weller saved FC Autoservice from getting behind. Tim Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viviano Baños in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Aleksandr Lugvenev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Viviano Baños had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Weller. FC Autoservice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viviano Baños was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roman Mamatov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Ove Frykberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Mamatov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. Tim Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Baños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Autoservice's zone, Viviano Baños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Weller came out of the goal and Viviano Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Autoservice getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Denis Cherkasskiy hit a great ball. FC Autoservice were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Новгород TS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Brytan took the corner. Denílson Scherer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Weller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Новгород TS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Braginskiy in the 43rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Igor Braginskiy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tim Weller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 44th match minute, FC Autoservice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Brytan to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Denis Makarov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Новгород TS and the FC Autoservice players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, one of Новгород TS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Новгород TS. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Новгород TS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Brytan was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Autoservice's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Autoservice's Fabian Brytan to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Ove Frykberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

53 minutes into the game, Viviano Baños recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Weller. Viviano Baños showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Pavel Ivashin's late challenge caught a Новгород TS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Ivashin helped the player get up and apologised. Pavel Ivashin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Roman Mamatov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Autoservice and the Новгород TS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 minutes of play, Новгород TS's Viviano Baños made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Weller was left in no man's land by his defense there!
