Nacho González didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Eliézer Correia put in a rough tackle. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Floresta Club U18! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, FC NOSTA's Gennadiy Lihventsov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Léo de Brito. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas de Souza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho González prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yuliy Esikov came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Léo de Brito could save by the left post. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuliy Esikov to make the kick off. Douglas de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Nacho González when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endrik Edmundo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gennadiy Lihventsov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC NOSTA getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edmundas Klusas hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Ruy da Rocha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC NOSTA's Nacho González didn't even have to move. When Tomé Reis fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta Club U18's protests and gave Tomé Reis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Floresta Club U18 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tomé Reis hit a great ball. Floresta Club U18's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
