Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Battaglia, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ruben Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Eusko in the 18th minute of play. Sebastián Battaglia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolás Valentini in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trent Alexander-Arnold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Orlando Medina got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, STARK F.C.'s Alvaro Eusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Sánchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the final whistle sounded STARK F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Candela FC.
