Jerzy Drzewucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigio Buffon having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Cem Adrian replaced Jimmie Vallengren. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Drzewucki to make the kick off. Edmund Hoffman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Warren FC - DMZ's Edmund Hoffman got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Tunberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Tunberg. Cem Adrian hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Olofsson in the 69th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Edmund Hoffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren FC - DMZ's Edmund Hoffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxence Cunin in the 70th minute of play. Jerzy Drzewucki might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigio Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerzy Drzewucki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Maxence Cunin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Drzewucki in the 81st minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warren FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polly Magoo Juniors the free kick. Adrianinho Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Hjálmar Jónsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Mota struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gigio Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warren FC - DMZ. Jan-Erik Tunberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Erik Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Dorian Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

In the 106th minute, Ladislao Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigio Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
