Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Horsky started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Ettore Pardini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poggio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Pardini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armin Salerni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Horsky in the 10th minute. Ettore Pardini charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore Pardini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Ettore Pardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Horsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armin Salerni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Wolf Kader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Waidisch FC's Wilhelm Horsky fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 20 played minutes Waidisch FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Steiner. Augusto Zinni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poggio's goalkeeper Armin Salerni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carter Cacciatore kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Poggio's Armin Salerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Horsky in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Zinni in the 30th minute of play forced Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Horsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Salerni having to interfere. Augusto Zinni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Weihs having to make a save. 37 minutes into the game, Manuel Steiner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waidisch FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poggio the free kick. Waidisch FC's Ralf Weihs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Di Ruscio in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Augusto Zinni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Weihs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Di Biagio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Wilhelm Horsky struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Armin Salerni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waidisch FC. Armin Salerni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf Kader in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Poggio's zone, Wilhelm Horsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Salerni came out of the goal and Wilhelm Horsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
A collision led to Poggio getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ciccio Coccia hit a great ball. In the 51st minute, Wilhelm Horsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Augusto Zinni came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Poggio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Zinni couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Wolf Kader had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armin Salerni. Poggio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wolf Kader was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Wolf Kader might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armin Salerni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wolf Kader ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilhelm Horsky spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Poggio's goal. After 70 played minutes Poggio got a freekick which was hit by Cesare De Marchi. Fausto Di Ruscio came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ralf Weihs could save by the left post. Fausto Di Ruscio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poggio's Armin Salerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Horsky in the 87th minute of play. Waidisch FC's Wilhelm Horsky got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Zinni took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Weihs. Ralf Weihs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Augusto Zinni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Waidisch FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poggio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
