Manuel Spârleas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ralf Weihs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 6 in the game by Manuel Spârlea from a close distance when the talented Ralf Weihs managed to make a qualified save. Waidisch FC's players were relieved. Nils Fontaine charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Fontaine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Waidisch FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Fontaine. With a little luck, Waidisch FC's Ralf Weihs got control of the ball when Manuel Spârlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Waidisch FC's Wilhelm Horsky in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.GODEANU-MURES's goalie prevented a goal. F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Valentin Chiriloaie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Horsky in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Waidisch FC defense, Manuel Spârlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Weihs. The Waidisch FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Weihs should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Waidisch FC got a freekick which was hit by Wolf Kader. Valentin Chiriloaie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Fontaine in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Wolf Kader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Chiriloaie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Dirk Gross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Gross kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Horsky made a kick off. Valentin Chiriloaie made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Wolf Kader sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Valentin Chiriloaie got control of the ball when Wolf Kader tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wolf Kader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Chiriloaie having to interfere. Manuel Spârlea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Chiriloaie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Horsky in the 72nd minute of play. Valentin Chiriloaie made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Manuel Steiner sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Wilhelm Horsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Chiriloaie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Horsky was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Waidisch FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 87 minutes into the match, F.C.GODEANU-MURES's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Horsky came free, but Valentin Chiriloaie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Spârlea might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Weihs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Spârlea ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Manuel Spârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.GODEANU-MURES's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Spârlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Weihs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
