Paul Case received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Valentin Chiriloaie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Grant Haylock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wordsley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.GODEANU-MURES the free kick. The supporters of F.C.GODEANU-MURES booed when Wordsley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grant Haylock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Marcel Stănilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Leslie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Wordsley City got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Halford. In the 8th minute, Jerome Dunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wordsley City's goalkeeper Michael Leslie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. F.C.GODEANU-MURES were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Wordsley City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Stănilă took the corner. The corner led F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Marcel Stănilă to fire away a dangerous shot which Michael Leslie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Marcel Stănilă fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.GODEANU-MURES's protests and gave Marcel Stănilă a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to F.C.GODEANU-MURES getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marcel Stănilă hit a great ball. F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Valentin Chiriloaie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Sinclair in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Wordsley City got a freekick which was hit by Dom Gibbs. If Răzvan Visarion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Chiriloaie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conal Sinclair's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Reggie Ginn charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reggie Ginn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reggie Ginn hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Manole Amuguroancei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Leslie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C.GODEANU-MURES reached it. Răzvan Visarion scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Leslie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Răzvan Visarion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Leslie having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wordsley City's Harvey Halford got a free kick in the 35th minute. Michael Leslie was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Manuel Spârlea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Spârlea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 41st minute of the match Jerome Dunn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Chiriloaie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Spârlea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Paul Case tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valentin Chiriloaie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Valentin Chiriloaie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Case in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Manuel Spârlea put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Leslie. When Manuel Spârlea came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the F.C.GODEANU-MURES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Spârlea couldn't finish the play. Michael Leslie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Dinescu in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, F.C.GODEANU-MURES's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Case came free, but Valentin Chiriloaie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerome Dunn kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Manuel Spârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Spârlea might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Leslie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Spârlea ran back to his position shaking his head. If Manuel Spârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wordsley City's Michael Leslie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Spârlea in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, F.C.GODEANU-MURES's Valentin Chiriloaie got control of the ball when Reggie Ginn tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Carlton Laverack in the 88th minute really tested Valentin Chiriloaie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Avram Eremia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Wordsley City's Michael Leslie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Spârlea in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C.GODEANU-MURES had won after a very even match.
