To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustavo Orain fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esther FC's protests and gave Gustavo Orain a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Paul Püllen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Rami having to make a save. In the 20th minute Paul Püllen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Castulo took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Sondermann. Jonas Sondermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cleto Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Püllen in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Tyrol Dragon Boys got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Haar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Isaias Clodio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tyrol Dragon Boys's Jonas Sondermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Frederik Haar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Püllen in the 38th minute of the match. If Paul Püllen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Esther FC's goalkeeper Cleto Rami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Püllen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Rami having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Püllen in the 42nd minute of play forced Esther FC's goalkeeper Cleto Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Püllen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Rami having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Clodio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Frederik Haar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Püllen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Rami having to make a save. Frederik Haar's late challenge caught a Esther FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederik Haar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Frederik Haar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Sondermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Clodio in the 60th minute of play. Esther FC's Lucio Bautista got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Sondermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Sondermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Castulo went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Tyrol Dragon Boys's Klaus Ackers was substituted for Oliver Rohe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Bautista in the 73rd minute of play forced Tyrol Dragon Boys's goalkeeper Jonas Sondermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tyrol Dragon Boys's Paul Püllen in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute, Paul Püllen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esther FC fully deserved thier win.
