The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Zeledon Gutierrez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralf Weihs. The goal made the score 1-0. Ralf Weihs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Gutierrez's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Waidisch FC defense, Jonatan Madaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Weihs. The Waidisch FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Weihs should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Wilhelm Horsky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waidisch FC and the Los Tira piedras players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Madaleno in the 17th minute of play forced Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ralf Weihs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Madaleno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ralf Weihs 26 minutes into the match. Pedro Goizeder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Wilhelm Horsky made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Jesco. Los Tira piedras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 39 minutes into the match, Los Tira piedras's Jonatan Madaleno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ralf Weihs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waidisch FC's Wilhelm Horsky got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Waidisch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Gross to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Horsky made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Madaleno in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Weihs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils Fontaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Jesco having to interfere. Esteve Jesco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilhelm Horsky's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Zeledon Gutierrez notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Waidisch FC's Ralf Weihs. Ralf Weihs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Madaleno in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Madaleno in the 78th minute of play forced Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 79 minutes on the clock, Isidro Gregory commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Tira piedras! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Waidisch FC. Jürgen Eymann stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Esteve Jesco. 4-3. Waidisch FC's Ralf Weihs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Gutierrez in the 87th minute of play. Jonatan Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Wilhelm Horsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Tira piedras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Wolf Kader scored to the left of an out of position Esteve Jesco, making the score, 4-4. Arnaldo Canor hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Waidisch FC's Jürgen Eymann tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Los Tira piedras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
