Damazy Barycz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Carilleros de Nayarit's Baldomiro Bidari. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Bidari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Carilleros de Nayarit's Baldomiro Bidari got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Rufio stood somewhat misplaced when Mateusz Sroki came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 44 minute. The Stuttgarter SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carilleros de Nayarit were winning 1-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Kuszczak in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Rufio saved Carilleros de Nayarit from getting behind. Cecilio Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwo Kuszczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amado Rufio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwo Kuszczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristobal Gasteiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damazy Barycz. Stuttgarter SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emil Ikalewicz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 81st play minutes Mateusz Sroki shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Amado Rufio and just under the crossbar into goal. Mateusz Sroki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Rufio having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Carilleros de Nayarit's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Kuszczak came free, but Amado Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Carilleros de Nayarit's Cecilio Bihar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Barycz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Stuttgarter SC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damazy Cuber hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carilleros de Nayarit eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
