Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Aguiar to make the kick off. Dirk Gross charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dirk Gross the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Weihs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Waidisch FC's Dirk Gross got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Dirk Gross off the ground. Dirk Gross kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute of the match Samuca Bittencourt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Weihs skillfully saved the ball. The Sururu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sururu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
