The supporters of Esther FC booed when Los Tira piedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Rami was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Tira piedras's Jonatan Madaleno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cleto Rami. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. When Zeledon Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Los Tira piedras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Esteve Jesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Bitxintxo in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Rami was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Esther FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Castulo to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Gutierrez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Clodio in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Tira piedras's goalkeeper Esteve Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Esther FC's Esteve Jesco threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaias Clodio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Los Tira piedras defense, Lucio Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Jesco. The Los Tira piedras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Jesco should have stopped the shot. Isidro Gregory was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Isidro Gregory hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Rami having to interfere. Esteve Jesco made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lucio Bautista sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Esther FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Gutierrez came free, but Cleto Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Los Tira piedras's Esteve Jesco got control of the ball when Lucio Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Jesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Clodio in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Tira piedras had played much better football throughout.
