The goalkeeper, Damazy Barycz, was totally fooled by Waidisch FC's Jürgen Eymann, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ralf Weihs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Sroki, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wilhelm Horsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Damazy Barycz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk Gross was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Stuttgarter SC booed when Waidisch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Gross didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Weihs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulryk Cempa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wolf Kader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Damazy Barycz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damazy Barycz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf Kader, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute of the match David-Pascal von Halem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damazy Barycz skillfully saved the ball. Damazy Barycz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolf Kader went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Cempa in the 76th minute of play forced Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Ralf Weihs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Cuber hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Waidisch FC's Jürgen Eymann tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Stuttgarter SC's zone, Wilhelm Horsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Barycz came out of the goal and Wilhelm Horsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralf Weihs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Sroki in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Stuttgarter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Horsky came free, but Damazy Barycz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Waidisch FC were awarded a corner. Jürgen Eymann went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 92nd match minute, Waidisch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Fontaine to maneuver through the defense.
