Pipis Culot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Danijel Subašić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Inge Nymoen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when He Zheng Xing made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jiang Xing Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danijel Subašić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danijel Subašić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Glyka Nera FC booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pipis Culot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Dalli in the 75th minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Pipis Culot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danijel Subašić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when He Zheng Xing came free, but Danijel Subašić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He Zheng Xing took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danijel Subašić. Danijel Subašić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
