After 7 minutes Redbourn AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moussa Kabre who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Moussa Kabre hit a great ball. German Cano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Afiz Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Taffarel came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Redbourn AFC's Ron Boon. But to his dismay, Ron Boon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Moraes came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquês de Herval's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moussa Kabre in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Jacinto Neves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo did a great save. In the 19thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Grøneng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Afiz Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorian Moraes in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Chong to maneuver through the defense. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ron Boon sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes, Alfredo Martins made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Ron Boon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbourn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Boon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Moraes came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Redbourn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ron Boon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorian Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Afiz Teo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. John Chong kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afiz Teo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Dorian Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marquês de Herval fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dorian Moraes in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Afiz Teo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afiz Teo. The goal made the score 1-5. Lorenzo Mendebal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Redbourn AFC's Ryan Tan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Dorian Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The Marquês de Herval players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
