If Ramazan Pancareken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramazan Pancareken in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Beugnet in the 23rd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ramazan Pancareken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ramazan Pancareken might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramazan Pancareken ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Pancareken came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
