In the 70th match minute, Roceira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Fontes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Haaland got free with David Seaman in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Barral. Roceira SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marcelinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Alagoano went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roceira SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. Michel Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Fontes in the 93rd minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
