The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Morientes got free with Zdzislaw Domarecki in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 9th minute of play forced Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Domarecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Fabian Czeszejko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Olimpia HSB fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Onyx from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Fabian Czeszejko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zdzislaw Domarecki, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Czeszejko. With a little luck, Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki got control of the ball when Fabian Czeszejko tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Morientes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zdzislaw Domarecki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabian Czeszejko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zdzislaw Domarecki having to make a save. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fabian Czeszejko sent off a good shot on target. Zdzislaw Domarecki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Czeszejko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fernando Morientes sped through Onyx's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zdzislaw Domarecki. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Morientes to make the kick off. A collision led to Onyx getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Piotr Zahemski hit a great ball. Tolek Kiszkiel made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jurand Jaraczeski sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Czeszejko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Domarecki having to interfere. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Onyx's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emrys Hannah in the 68th minute. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Artur Walczak replaced Rodney Lindov. In the 78th minute Jacek Pietrowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurand Jaraczeski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tolek Kiszkiel firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jacek Pietrowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Onyx's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Pietrowiak came free, but Zdzislaw Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Jacek Pietrowiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia HSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Pietrowiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zdzislaw Domarecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacek Pietrowiak's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olimpia HSB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Onyx had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
