Zdzislaw Domarecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fabian Czeszejko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Domarecki was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Şahap Cezar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onyx's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Czeszejko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Fabian Czeszejko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Fernando Morientes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jurand Petka fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onyx's protests and gave Jurand Petka a yellow card for diving instead. Olimpia HSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After 50 minutes, Jurand Jaraczeski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onyx and the Olimpia HSB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Jaraczeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Domarecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 53rd minute. Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Domarecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zdzislaw Domarecki. That made the score 0-3 after 59 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the match, Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Walczak. Şahap Cezar kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zdzislaw Domarecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Czeszejko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Domarecki made a huge save. Fabian Czeszejko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Domarecki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 72nd minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Bugajski made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Konrad Bubczyk immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacek Pietrowiak in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Domarecki saved Onyx from getting behind. In the 77th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Onyx's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 83 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zahemski came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fernando Morientes hit a great ball. Jacek Pietrowiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Domarecki made a huge save. Jacek Pietrowiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Domarecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacek Pietrowiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacek Pietrowiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Domarecki made a huge save. In the 93rd minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Onyx's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fernando Morientes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki did a great save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Jacek Pietrowiak took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Zdzislaw Domarecki to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olimpia HSB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
